30 Days of Gratitude – Day 15 and 16

Today I am grateful for music that inspires me to dance, sing, daydream, reminisce, smile, cry, relax, exercise, etc.

Music has that kind of effect on me.  It’s one of those things that has a universal appeal so I can’t even begin to pick a genre of music as my favorite.  I’ve been moved by all kinds of music.

I am also grateful for guilty pleasures in my case they are: gummy bears and t.v. shows like Dancing with the Stars and Shark Tank.  We all need something harmless to help us relax or not take ourselves too seriously.

Gratitude turns what we into enough.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

30 Days of Gratitude – Day 13 and Day 14

This dreadful cold is still lingering and to it I blame my scheduling interupptions.  Today I am thankful for profound words of wisdoms and Christian podcasts.

Some words of wisdom I love:

Let the beauty of what you love, be what you do. – Rumi

Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony. – Mahatma Gandhi

Comparison is the thief of joy. – Theodor Roosevelt

Some Christian podcasts I enjoy:

Saddleback Church by Rick Warren

In Touch Ministries by Dr. Charles Stanley

If you have any words of wisdom that inspires you, feel free to share. Peace and Bliss.

30 Days of Gratitude – Day 11

Today I’m grateful to the men and women that serve in our armed forces.  It takes a great deal of courage to do the countless things they do; often times leaving family behind to face the unexpected.  So, today I salute those in active duty and those who have served their country with bravery.  Peace and love.

30 Days of Gratitude – Day 9 and 10

Today I am thankful for the Internet.  I can’t even imagine my life before it or without it.  The beauty of the internet is having information right at your fingertips.  Anything you need to discover is one keystroke away.

Yesterday I had every intention of posting this but I apparently was consumed with exhaustion that I fell right asleep.  So, I am also thankful for second chances.  Second chances are sometimes rare.   But, depending on the circumstances they can be a life-saver.  Though, I think they are most warranted when your character, consciousness, and heart are all in the right place.

30 Days of Gratitude – Day 8

Today I am grateful for any semblance of good health that I have.  I do want to incorporate more exercise into my routine rather than the 2x a week that I currently do; more juicing, less chicken, more vegetables, more water, a few vital supplements like probiotics, multi-vitamin, etc.  Consistency is key though and that’s my biggest issue.  The good thing is that I’m working on doing better.
