Christ Alone, Cornerstone

My hope is built on nothing less

than Jesus’ blood and righteousness

I dare not trust the sweetest frame

but wholly trust in Jesus’ name

Christ alone; cornerstone

Weak made strong; in the Saviour’s love

Through the storm, He is Lord

Lord of all

When Darkness seems to hide His face

I rest on His unchanging grace

In every high and stormy gale

My anchor holds within the veil

My anchor holds within the veil

Christ alone; cornerstone

Weak made strong; in the Saviour’s love

Through the storm, He is Lord

Lord of all

He is Lord

Lord of all

When He shall come with trumpet sound,

Oh, may I then in Him be found;

Dressed in His righteousness alone,

Faultless stand before the throne.

–Lyrics by Hillsong

I felt like praising God tonight and remembered some of the lyrics to this song.  But, I could not recall the title.

I would not rest until I found it.  At last I did.  I longed to sing it and so I did.  I sang it at the top of my lungs.

It touches my soul, warms my heart, and brings me joy.

The lyrics are a great representation of the message I wanted to express to the Lord tonight.  Gratitude.

I am so thankful for so much.  My own words were not enough for me tonight this song was a great companion.

It is my lyrical bliss.
