The entries for the last few days are as follows, Today I am grateful for:
Day 27 – people who volunteer to help you out when you need it. They spend their time and energy to help you get things done when it’s crunch time. They don’t expect anything in return either because they simply enjoy helping you out. I love people like that. I know one person like that in particular. Thanks Babe.
Day 28 – Mentors. These are people that are experts in a particular subject and are willing to share with you all that they know so that you can learn, grow, and succeed in that particular area. They are not worried about their job security, or you being a threat to them. The essence of what they do is simply a joy to them to see others prosper. We need more people in the world like that.
Day 29 – a break from the daily grind, which happens to be graduate school for me. I am currently on winter break and looking forward to every day of the next five weeks to enjoy my time off from reading textbooks, projects, and homework.
Day 30 – thank you for reading. In Pursuit of Bliss has been a platform for me to share my thoughts and feelings, to put them on paper, and just express myself. I was hesitant about doing so initially. Putting yourself out there is tough especially since everyone’s a critic. But, so far it’s been a good ride. I take more care in organizing my thoughts which in turn helps develop my writing.
Although the 30 days of gratitude series has come to an end, it doesn’t stop here. My spirit of gratitude will continue each and every day. I hope the same for you.
If I’ve learned anything so far on this journey it is this: even when things are bad be grateful. Because there is always something to be thankful for.
“In every thing give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Peace and blessings.
